New Arsenal Molds ordered

Oh and as far as the light bullets shooting low in the special’s, my wife’s Charter is an older 3” fixed sight model and I’ve only had 2 other 44 Charters, both 2.5” barrels. They went down the road after I got a 3” Rossi 720 with adjustable sites. My BIL has a 4” “Target” model 44 Charter Arms with adjustable sites and all other 44’s specials and magnums have adjustable sites in my stable.
I really like the Rossi as it has more weight then the Charters.

the 'new' powders are just clones of the old powders.
they are made differently so they meet European environmental standards, and as soon as all of us old guy's kick off, the new powders will pretty much be all that's left here too.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
I've seen exactly one Charter Target Bulldog in my life and it wasn't for sale. I've also seen exactly one other fixed sight Charter BD and I bought that one! I've never seen a Rossi handgun in anything but 22. They just aren't common up here for some reason. The lone Smith 24-3 Lew Horton special I found I grabbed like it was a rope thrown to a drowning man!!!! But I really hesitate to carry it having spent 2 or 3 days searching for my Smith 19 once in a swamp. I always say I'm going to come up with a slick lanyard, something more refined than a zip tie through the trigger guard!!!, but I've yet to get aroundtoit.

Yeah that’s the only target BD I’ve run across as well. I had my BIL out shopping around for a regular BD and this one was laying in a counter of a local gun store and told Mark, but it, if you don’t like it I’ll trade you a regular BD for it. Well he likes it so I came up short on that idea. I had a Lew Horton 24-3 round butt and a Lew Horton 24 series in a 4” square butt. Sadly in a moment of stupidity they went down the road to help finance some other “got to have gun” that I’m sure went down the road as well.

CA firearms weren't common in Michigan, nor here in Arkansas. I purchased my Fit for Duty (shrouded hammer) Bulldog on a Buy it Now off GB. Sight unseen.

Well talked to Jared at Arsenal molds today he had just finished up my 44-180 and was ready to ship. I had ordered a 4th mold, a 225-47 grain 5 cavity for the Hornet. So C Card for the 4th mold and got an email with a tracking number. Looking forward to this package.
Christmas 5 weeks early

The 370 for my 458x2 and the 230 plinker for my 45-70, both ordered for .459 diameter

Light 180 grain for the 44’s. Never figured out why there’s a 160, 180, 200 and so on in 45 caliber and people think it’s unusual to want alight bullet for a 44.
Little 47 grain for the Hornet, hopefully will stabilize
