For the past week or so I have been dealing with what I thought was a displaced lens in one of my eyes. I saw the eye doc Tuesday, and the lenses are just fine--that's the good part. What's not known yet is why the whole eye and lid wants to tweak out of alignment. That is being chased down via blood tests and a cranial & orbital MRI at zero-dark-thirty on Monday morning. The truly miserable part of this is the apparent ocular migraines that come and go and prevent sleep--fatigue screws me up something awful. I'll be 69 in a few weeks, and mine was not a gentle lifestyle. We all know why the medicos want MRIs in the Brain Housing Group, too. Nicely enough my physical faculties seem unaffected so far, it's just mizzable when the headaches hit and nausea follows.

I say this to let y'all know that my verbose and opinionated prose might not be as regular and constant until some resolution of this latest Range Rover payment sequence for the MDs is completed. Y'all drive careful, now--ya hear?

CZ; if your Doc hasn't got you on Zofran for the nausea you might suggest it to him/her. Always works for me for ANY kind of nausea.

Dammit Allen, just dammit. Of course I'm prayin' for you although sometimes I fear I may be on the Good Lord's ignore list.
I thought this whole 10 ft. tall and bullet proof concept was 'sposed to get us to at least our 80's. Good luck sir.

Update from Marie (Al's better half)
Al's been hospitalized since Monday, he's doing well, and responding to the meds the docs have given him. He's looking so much better and the affected eyesight issue is resolving. He wanted me to let you all know. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.
