I always surf eBay. I have a couple molds I am watching for.

One is a RCBS 243-95 and it was offered yesterday on the other site. I posted the "Ill take it" and sent a PM but havn't herd back yet. Hope I get it its one I have wanted to try.

Then back on eBay I received a private offer 20% off an already good buy on a Accurate Brass mold 36-135y. I couldn't resist. Its a Keith type with a 429 nose. Nice candidate for a HP should I decide too.

Have you used or are you familiar with it, Ben?

I did a quick search. Accurate said only a couple Sold. I assume this is half if that... ;).

It appears faithful to the Keith orthodoxy of 3 drive bands of equal weight and diameter. That's a good thing, in my book.

Of course---The Splitting Of Hairs Department wants a vote on Keith designs. That bunch decries that full diameter lengthy front band because its draggy slip-fit into throats (that St. Elmer favored greatly as an accuracy upgrade) plays hob with speed loader usage and cartridge fit during stressful reload sequences--especially if the throats are getting gritty after firing sequences. I have noted this myself, and my carry ammo is 1) factory loaded and 2) of round flatnose jacketed design. For hunting and most sport applications conventional Keith designs are just fine.

Nitpickers and chronic malcontents need an advocate too--God love 'em.

The 243-95 mold is hopefully in route too but I have not gotten conformation he received funds. (Id assume he would have said had he not...)

Both arrived in todays post!

The Accurate has been used and well cared for. The RCBS appears ta be stored in a dusty corner and used little.

Both dropped perfect bullets instantly. RenderedImage.jpegRenderedImage.jpegRenderedImage.jpegRenderedImage.jpeg
