Also loaded 20 rounds with 16gr od RX7

That will work, too. I never did get my favorite rifle powder to group as well as H335, H332, or 3031 but it did okay up to about 19 grains. I think 18 grains with a 68-grain bullet was about the best in 7,8, and 9 twist rifles, you're about in the same velocity range with your bullet and 16.

Nice!
My only experience with slick bullets, is with the Arsenal 224-45. I didn't get great accuracy (1,5-2 MOA), but there might be several reasons for this.
I appreciated the ease of casting and sorting, when dealing with a slick bullet. I'm looking forward to seeing how this bullet works out.

I might not even mess around with this. For the majority of what I want to do with this rifle, this load will work. Shooting pop cans and clay pigeons offhand at 40-70 yards. Works fantastic! Had the wife out shooting too. Her first time this year. Twice she busted 3 out of 5 clays with five rounds in the mag at 65 yards.

It is a hoot to shoot be it cast or otherwise. I scored a 1000 round box of Remington 55gr PSP and an eight pound jug of TAC along with 5k small rifle primers at an estate sale for $400
I really don't shoot the AR’s that much so that should keep me in business for sometime. I also ordered an Arsenal 5 cavity 61gr Elvis mold today.

Mine is the standard black stocked .223 model. It came with a factory-mounted Vortex 3-9X40 scope I recently replaced with an 8.5-25X44 Mueller, and I replaced the 5-shot factory magazine and its well with their AR-15 style well and Magpul magazines. I've not cast for it . . . yet. However, I have 100-yard sub-MOA loads for Hornady
55-grain FMJ, 55-grain V-Max, and 68-grain HPBT, Sierra 69-grain HPBT, and Barnes 50-grain Varmint Grenade. I've posted several 1/4 MOA groups, from those times when it all came right.

Yep, Walter, it's a hoot-to-shoot rifle.

the 110's shoot like that in my 300BO.
the rifle still needs a little more weight added to it, but it'll easily take golf balls off the target stand.

Ran those Elvis 61gr bullets over the Chrony today. Five shots averaged 2180fps.
Easily busting clays at 65 yards is good enough for me. 13gr of SR4759, PC sized to .225"
with mixed brass. Super fun plinker round. I bet these would cycle the AR as well.
Just got my mold in the mail yesterday. Hope to fire it up tomorrow.
