I added a new sub forum for black powder in the powder section.

Feel free to use it for all thing BP- cartridge guns, muzzle loaders, and making your own.

But I sent something like 40 lbs of lead balls downrange last year and didn't have to pop a single primer.

Rock locks are a well proven survival tool ! Make your own BP and you are off the grid so to write.

Only if you tell..

I can get enough to make at least 20 lbs of gunpowder by boiling a road flare and collecting the pure sulfur from the bottom of the pot.

Careful or someone will want a flint specific forum. Then a primer specific forum. Next thing you know we have a forum on how to find the right forum.

Just realize that if it gets hit too hard then poof, it goes and is never useful again.
