This one is a tumble lube, casting at .359".
The mould cast both a plain base and a gas check bullet.
This one would be a hard hitter.
Today I'm casting plain base bullets.

Although my mould is marked 175 gr., with lube, ready to load they are a shade over 180 grs.

If you're a believer in " Big, slow, heavy ", this one is
your friend.

It is tough for a 38 Special to get a lot of velocity pushing this one.
Of course, a brick doesn't have to be going very fast to hurt you.

@Ben , you sure have a nose for good-looking bullets!

I'm glad someone keeps Michael's designs alive, as originally designed or with a tweak or two. I have the NOE version of the RDO 190 and the NOE version of the NOE 180 WFN.

I keep thinking that the 175 would be a marvelous optimum for the revolver/carbine combo. The 180 works a wonder in my single-shot carbine or 3" revolvers. My 190 is a mite but better in the carbine, but doesn't FIT in my revolvers, so the 180 WFN is my dual-purpose bullet.

for any bullet used for slow/subsonic, I think the tumble lube is a very good option

and the tumble lube grooves work well for that, as well, they leave the bullet stronger than deeper conventional lubes

I have designed a bullet for my 30-30, that in my limited brain power, has all the benefits of several designs.
I thought this one up for a 200gr subsonic

Easy Button
That's what I was after
