NOE copy of Lyman 311414

35 years ago, I shot an orig. Lyman 414' out of a stock 1917 Win. Enfield . It was a nail driver with IMR - 4064 powder.
I knew very little about cast bullet shooting during those days, but my lack of knowledge didn't keep my rifle from really liking that bullet.
As you are probably aware that design keeps a lot of bullet out of the case neck and only a small amount of bullet in the case neck.

I have a single of that 414, that I haven't shot in years.
If I remember right, it shot well in 06, at least up to
1600 fps or so.

I don't have any experience with that one Walter ..however I do have several molds that cast a similar weight bullet but they are "fatter"..
If that bullet came in a 312 version like the 312-160 FN Harris one does I might try it..
