Jeff said it far better than I can.Allen, our thoughts are with you.
As Popper said, you don't get over it but "mom" still shows up a lot, especially when you get together with siblings. Always good thoughts about great things when that happens. Lost my mom a couple years ago and I can promise - she won't fade from your memory.
sorry to hear my mom is 92 and getting close, she forgets a lot but thats gods way.At about 8 P.M. local time tonight (Sat. 10/09), our mother Joan Marie Paine went to be with Our Lord.
Thanks to all here for letting me bounce words off of you and distract myself for the last few days as she approached the end and as I wrestled with pharmaceutical vendors that chose a very bad time in our lives to inflict their mediocrity and apathy upon us. Mom is beyond her pain now, my meds have arrived and are on board, so our family will work through the next several days and weeks with paradigm shifts of uncertain direction.
