pulling bullets and neck tension

I ended up having to pull a lot of bullets from my 338 Lapua test loads. My rifle started showing signs of pressure well below what the book said was max.

Not that that really matters any. My question is will my neck tension be okay if I just reseat bullets back into the brass or shound I neck size them again?

What are your thoughts on this subject?

If for any serious accuracy shooting especially at distance were it me they would get neck sized.

I kinda thought this would be the answer
Guess I should know better than to try and cut corners.....

This is where I really like bushing type neck sizers.
I would size the neck to make sure. With that much powder and expensive bullets why take a chance? Won't matter at 100 but it sure will at 1K.

you already have your answer.
[I am sure you already knew it]

but i'll throw this out there as a reminder.
anything that gives you confidence in your ammo/gun combination WILL make the on target results better.

the ammo don't gotta really be better, the gun don't gotta be better, your confidence in them.... that is where the real success in shooting lies.

Lamar. I've heard you and others say this before and I believe it!
Any doubt when that trigger breaks will show down range.
Thank you.

^^^^^ This is gospel.

In competition when your concentration is 100% sight picture, grip, trigger control, follow through because there is no doubt in your mind about your equipment . . . Priceless!

Didn't matter w my 35 Remington when I decided that I didn't like the way my bases filled out on a bunch of test loads I made....accuracy replicated in my full length sized/fresh loaded ammo

Now that was 50 yards not 500. Guarantee that every little missed detail would show up like everyone else says.

50 yards w a deer rifle ain't a accuracy game. For me it was just get good groups that would do well later for me

Yeah bullet puller could change some of the dynamics of the bullet.

I never saw a issue using pulled bullets within 100 yards
