Grabbed this on eBay last night. Started 60$ and sold for 86$. I was happy.
Might have larger clean up on this one. Its missing its wood spur breaker. Thats OK and came with a bag of checks. Someone looks to have sprayed it with something. Hoping I can remove it.

I hope to have it in a few days as it already has shipping label. More to come!

I have that mould from a Group Buy that SciFi Jim ran. IIRC, it's a four cavity, 2 PB and 2 GC. Haven't cast with it in a while. Have plenty on the shelf. One of the bullets, I use in my Marlin and RH. I size it to .433 diameter.

I have an original 2C from Michael's first run. It's an old-style LEE 2c, but in nice shape because it doesn't get used that much - strictly for a friends Marlin 1894. When he buys a casting pot, I'll send it to him to get his collection of moulds started. He gives glowing reports of its performance in his Marlin.

If I remember correctly, the price on my 2C, way back when, was $60, once Michael divided the costs among the several who bought from that first run. I'm thinking that was a screaming deal on that 6C, @CWLONGSHOT .

It IS a great design and a good general-purpose 44 Mag bullet weight. I tend to cut the 'Special off at 250 grains and certainly no GC.

I had one of those custom 6 cav 44 cal from Ranch dog...but sold it after I sold the 44 guns.
I still have two of those custom 6 cav RD's in 41 cal, weight is a bit heavy for caliber at 255gr. one mold is PB and the other mold is GC. the GC shank is a weird size, so I had to have some custom GCs made by Sages.

Sixteen grains of 2400, with the 265 grainer, is my deer hunting load in the Marlin. W-W Super 44 Mag brass.

Thirteen grains of 2400, in the Bulldog, with that bullet.

GC for the carbine, PB for the revolvers.

Sorry man!!
I weighed cost against new copy. So bid accordingly.

Hoping that "graphite" coating isnt detrimental...

Ill share some of its fodder if ya need or wanna try!

No worries :)

I have the exact mold it’s just plain based.
Was hoping to buy its twin.

Just soak it in acetone and the stuff will just scrub right off with a tooth brush.
Only issue I have ever found is it shrinks your bullet over all diameter.

Cheers and I might take you up on that offer.

Offer stands!!

Yea that is my worry as I PC all these days.

Ill post some pics when I get it and start casting it.

NON GAS CHECK is also desirable!! We can swap some for some!

I would have to have a huge life changing event to part with either of those 41 molds. Here's the story, Since 1990, 44 Mag "was" always my favorite caliber (it's why I started reloading, and then casting). That was until, I met 41 Mag. After years of dating them both, I choose to leave the 44 caliber forever, and marry the 41 Mag. So I have a commitment to 41 and "have" to keep all my 41 stuff, that was in the vows.

Do you want a pile of 411-255 RD samples?

I just cast some of those today in my old 2C. Had to have something to keep my tempo on the 4C mould I NEEDED to use, so I ran a "handful" of these for a friend. I have several of this design, from 22 to 44 and they are a great design.
