Guess a lot of it is objective and perspective. Definitely got my money's worth. Will not say I did not.

Just thought it would be so much more for 70 percent higher price. I have come to the reality that as, other things. Quality is not in direct proportion to the money spent.

You get more for each dollar spent, but less increase in quality per dollar as price goes up.
Who knows in a year of two of use, might be singing a different tune.
Bet the weight difference, and warranty for ruggedness is probably a big seller for those who walk 5 miles, andclimb mountains with it.
It is not so much for me. For a walk in the Ohio woods, on ferns and pine needles, were this out of shape fellow can still safely go. Most of my hunting adventures are under a 1/2 mile of walking from the car , on slightly sloping ground.
