Earlier today I read a post within a thread on FB concerning the salvaging of corroded military and commercial primers someone located. I think we have a Darwin Award Winner pending--one respondent suggested that the primers could be tumbled with stainless steel pins to clean them up and render them useful for service. I had to speak up, and related the story in Hatcher's Notebook about the arsenal employee bouncing the bucket of bulk primers meant for a loading machine. BOOM!

I just watched a video of a gender reveal party where the parents to be fired smoke flares of the proper color to tell the world the sex of the coming child. They held them upside down, the guy shot himself in the groin giving a whole new definition to the term Blue Balls......It really is amazing.......how incredibly stupid some people are.

Stuff like this pops up every time another component drought rolls through the marketplace. To paraphrase a meme I saw today--"100 years ago, students learned Latin and Greek in high school. Now, we teach remedial English composition in college."

that's as close to anything media related as I get too.

here's how facebook works.
my sister bought the house we mostly grew up in.
directly across the street from her is the girl in charge of our [mine and hers] H.S. reunions.
she also lives in the house her parents owned.
we moved in in like 1975, and she was already there.
so you know only 40 sum years now.
she hasn't been able to find me to tell me about any of our H.S. reunions because I don't have a facebook.
apparently going the 30yds. from her house to my sisters is too much effort.
