My friend works for an Arborist. He told me a story about what happened to their chipper when the new kid accidentally fed a 3/4” by 150’ arborist rope into it. It separated the housing and cracked a bunch of the welds. Shut down the company for a week, as they only run the one chipper.

Sometimes it is best to just sit back and enjoy the show.
Many years ago we had a car with the drivetrain locked up stalled on a RR crossing. We could see the locomotive lights way in the distance. Called dispatch and told him to hurry the wrecker and try to stop the train. After a few minutes he called back and said the train was East bound and less than a mile away at 60 mph. They would try to get it stopped, but that we should back up a ways and "sit back and enjoy the show". I was almost disappointed when the train got stopped about 30 yds from the crossing. (the car owner was pretty pleased).

it ain't half bad around 10 am either.

drain plug, strap still on, too far the bed's full, won't start, back down slam on the brakes without tying the boat to anything, it goes on and on.

Watched a lady drop a 40 foot cruiser off the roller trailer one time. The guy was in the boat yelling and screaming at her for doing it. She yells back your the stupid f...... that unhooked it! They rented a crane to put it back on the trailer and the 2 out drives in the boat.
