This morning, I sold my Schwinn Airdyne to a fella from the old neighborhood...was good to see him again.
I'm not sure where I'm gonna hang my clothes now?

Rain, rain. Woke @ 8:30 Am to puppy shaking - thunder. Trying to clean up the garage, put the Christmas trees she bought up in the attic ( tossed them couple yrs ago, small cheap looking things - so she goes and bought 2 more). Sorted and tossed a bunch of junk stuff that was piled on the compressor. Put pulled IMR895 from the 308W back in the jug. Resized yesterday, too much HS, musta messed up when sizing. Found a bunch of old/bad brass with primers, need to punch them out. Supposed to have a HOA party for lunch - not happening. Charge us annually then have a block party to spend it. Stupid but we can't get rid of them. Probably check the CVA for leading, maybe heat up the pot.

I made quite a little score today!
My fishin buddy called last nite. Asked if I wanted to take a ride to the shore. He had ta drop $$ and there was a three store "tag sale" of used boating and fishing stuff.

I have been wanting a new spinning rod and fancied a Daiwa Harrier but resisted online for the shipping costs associated. So I hoped maybe Id find one...

Wow did they have "stuff"!!! 50% was deep sea Penn International 3000$ reels and BIG boat stuff. BUT... :p

I found a Shimano Treze spinning rod. Just a bit heavier than what I wanted from the Harrier. Just as light weight and same physical size. A Harrier is a 100$ rod. A Treze is a 300$ rod. Only at this location it was 100$... I almost hurt my shoulder getting my wallet out...

I lucked into two other Shimano rods some 10/12 years ago too. Trevalia was there name. Those was 200$ rods then 69$ ea. Guess I have a thing for Shimano fishing rods!

My wife and I were gardening when a neighbor's son and dog walked behind my wife and the dog bit her on the under part of her forearm, leaving a good size puncture. I did the first-aid stuff, but it's off to urgent care for a professional checkup, cleaning, antibiotics, and possibly a tetanus shot/booster.

When are the services for the dog?

I know you are making light.
Being lazy but inventive.
I installed a bar and a shelf above the washer and dryer.
Our every day clothes don't even make it to the closet anymore.

I road to the coast with my son and DIL today.
We made a crab run up to Brookings.
We buy them fresh of the boat.
He cooks and cleans them as you wait. I`ll NEVER buy a crab that has been frozen again.
My son and I said that we would take 1 each 2# or better each.
The guy says $25 for both the big crabs. $6 a lb. , a good price.
When he got them cleaned, he said I`m going to give each one more for nothing.
4 large crabs for $25. Life is good.
We then drove down to Crescent City, CA and had a captains plate for dinner.
The fish was ling cod.
We had great family day.

Dale,

I loved it when I was young and had friends that would do this with me. We would spend a couple of nights at Long Beach for clams, up to Raymond for crabs, then up to Sekiu for cod. Sadly they are all gone now, and I miss that great sea food a lot. My friends were all firefighters and died miserable deaths.

put in a second pear tree today.
the first one should just be getting old enough to do something, so i decided a second variety that's supposed to be just a bit hardier would be a good idea.
i'm hoping for some shade on the west side of the house during the summer at some point.

i got most of the covers on the boxes to start warming up the dirt.
i'm apprehensive about planting anything, even with the super warm days we've been having, it's still too early to put much of anything not protected or super cold loving out.
not gonna stop me from throwing some Brassica's out there, and planting taters.

I`m like you Lamar .
The first really nice warm days makes want to start planting my warm weather crops.
I`ve made that mistake.
Usually by planting seeds too early and having ate rains to cause them to rot rather than germinate.
I don`t even try to plant beans, cukes, summer squash, etc. until around the first of June.
I am going to plant some potatoes today.

Upstairs commodes were pretty good quality Kohlers. Had to replace the cheapo whatever it was in the basement guest room bathroom. Put a Kohler in there too.
One of the reasons I like Kohler is, I used to do CAD drawings for folks and Kohler would send me a DVD with the engineering drawings in the form of .DWG files for most of their products.

Driving the wife to Vancouver to have pizza with her half brothers and sisters and families. 400 miles today on $5.00 a gallon gasoline.
