Is there anything you don’t know how to do? Geez......Not tough at all, you just tram the end points of the straight sections and tram the depth (break curves into several straight cuts leaving the excess material to the inside), then plow it out. Most barrel contours can be done in four setups per side plus the center/bottom run, then the excess blended to the line with a short block and sandpaper. Done this a few times with a drill press and milling vise, AKA "the hard way". Also done it several times with chisels, rasps, and sandpaper, AKA "the RIDICULOUSLY DIFFICULT WAY". The Brownells disk scraper is mo'betta but doesn't beat power tools IMO.
