Anybody rebarreled a Tikka T3? I'm looking at one to buy but it's not in the caliber I want (22-250).
BTW, could a 22-250 be rechambered in a 22 Creedmoor? The Tikka barrel has a 1:14 twist; might not be suitable for a 22 CM.
I haven't but recall skimming an article or a post on P. M. About how they are a special kind of PITA to remove and some people have figured out better ways to do it.
I have rebarreled my T3 22-250 to 30-06 with a T3X takeoff barrel. I had to change the magazine and cut the bolt stop back for the longer cartridge.
It wasn’t difficult - the action is flat sided-and it’s the most accurate 30-06 that I’ve shot.
