Bottom of the funnel is 3 3/4” in diameter- a pretty good fit in FA tumbler.
cone is a 60° angle.

You're probably right, might have to do the Rich Harter rebuild/ extend rails and bed and upgrade it to run on weed eater string....you know, so I could print new rifle stocks and so forth.

HA! No way!

I was thinking of you a few weeks ago, I turned in my Boeing badge and found myself a new gig slinging parts at the piston shop at T82. We had a Mooney M20M in for annual and it had an IO-360 with GAMI injectors. They'd never been cleaned, something like 1200 engine hours on it. The new apprentice (who came from Dugosh at KERV, across the parking lot from the old Mooney plant) came and asked me for.....wait for it.....Hoppe's #9. Everyone else including the IA who's worked there 26 years gave us both a dumb look. I grinned because it seems I heard aobut that somewhere before...hmmmm. After I pulled up the GAMI service letter to appease the IA, I ended up having to bring a quart from the house and some small baby food jars for the ultrasonic cleaner so the new guy could get those injectors to shine like new pennies inside and out, we had a good laugh and boy did the hangar smell good for a couple of days.

That my friend is what separates mechanics from technicians. Mechanics take stuff apart fix it seeking the true source of the failure. Techs throw parts at it until the problem goes away or is covered up .
