I've been working on The Winchester Book by Madis, almost done with it but I hit a section of less interest... the 22s and autoloading rifles.
I also am working on Winchester Lever Legacy by Clyde Williamson. I don't care for his commentary. I got more out of the introduction by Madis than I have from the author, though it has a few interesting tidbits, and I suppose if you were looking for load data for some of more obscure Winchester cartridges it would have more value.
Now I have one to start called Dreams of ElDorado, I forget by whom, but it is basically a book of the history of the old west.
Been reading the Goodbook a while, I'm over into Samuel in the OT, into Ephesians in the NT, and into the 90s in Psalms (I keep a bookmark in all three places); Finished proverbs. Some pretty wild stuff happened back in the Old Testament.
