I am not to knowledgeable on gun prices. So I am asking if the priceses were out of line
There was a Win 94 in 410 shotgun it went for 400+
there were 3 A103's?? 2 went for 6/700 all were good cond. The last one was forgotten till the very end of the sale. That one looked to be very good cond. It went for 400+
I saw 3 45/70 original trapdoors all went for about 500 each
Marlin lever 45/70 went for under 450 I was interested but couldn't buy
Many H&R handy shotguns 410/10 gauge 100 max A new handy 3006 custom stock & scope 210$
2 M1 Garands all were pre-war/ both exceptionally good wood 1000$ per gun
4 Brit 303's 2 were original paratrooper (clip fed) all short barrel with flaired muzzle devices nothing over 450$

In comparison to B'ham AL gun show prices, those are REAL GOOD prices.

Like Ben said - pretty good prices all the way around here in N AL! Couple that really jump out to me below! I can almost guarantee I would have been at least $500 poorer and at LEAST one Trapdoor richer! I have told myself that if I find a decent Trapdoor in that range I WILL own it!

if you meant 03A3's the first 2 went for about right, the last one was a steal.
those prices are what I would expect to pay in a shop around here.
I would have been all over that .410 cal lever gun it would be perfect for grouse hunting on the 4 wheelers.
the 303's are called the MK-V by some and jungle carbine to others.
I wish I had mine back, I sold it to my BIL many years ago.

As stated before, those are some really good prices. I frequent several auctions each month. The ones that have only local bidders usually result in better prices than those that allow online bidders simultaneously. I would attend that same auction again and if similar prices are realized, then it's a pretty soft market there. I collect Lee Enfields and encounter quite a few "made-up" jungle carbines. It maybe what those were. They are easily distinguished most times by the lightening cuts. Most LEs go for about what those went for, but JCs usually go for more. As "fiver" said, that last 03A3 was probably a real steal, as was the Marlin 1895s.

The $400 03A3 was a great deal. Garands seem high to me, but I don't dabble in that
market, got one and scratched that itch. Trapdoors, if good bbls, are cheap compared to
around here, more like $750-1000. The Mk 5 Enfields seem OK but not high or low,
depending on condition. Know literally nothing on marked for HandiRifles. The Marlin
45-70 seems like a real good deal.
