For my handguns I've been using FWFL and have no complaints there. Problem was using it in my Marlin 45-70. I've read and read on the cold barrel lubes and gave the 666+1 a try. Weather was in the 40's and it shot pretty well. Shot more groups this week and temps were in the 60's. Not so good this time. Took 12 shots to get back to center. I know this lube is not good for the warmer temps we see here in SW Louisiana. My plan was to lube and size for hunting with the 666+1. Since temps can swing so much here I'm thinking of making a batch of Ben's Red based on what I've been reading. Thoughts? Thanks!
