You cast from a chair?
Prior to getting the ignitor equipped torch I simply kept a flint torch lighter hanging off the bench. Hardly any less convenient.I hate being cheap, but alas,im still using the old fashion no igniter torch, and thats a pain.
Maybe i should get in the 21st century, but thats painful as well!
Is there any other way?You cast from a chair?
Standing?Is there any other way?
That's too much like work!Standing?
When ladle casting, I want to be looking down, into the pot. So I use a bar stool height chair. Puts your lap above the pot.
My promelt looked like that, about 30 years ago.now,it dont even have any paint left on it.I use a C-clamp to make sure the pot doesn't tip over.
