Tonight I was told that my better halfs mother wanted all the guns out of her house from her deceased husband. Most all the guns are going to my better halfs brother. Her husband had a tragic death with a gun so she does not want any of them around.

I was told I could have the 1903A4 Remington. It is also a Z serial # so even more rare. Now I am going to have to find a scope. He bought the rifle in 1960 from Rock Island Armory in Rock Island Illinois. I need to go get the gun to find out which scope it had. It has the rings and base, just not the scope.

Looks like I will need to get some stuff to reload for this. I want to shoot it bad. It has never been shot by him. So who knows when it was last shot. Either WWII or Korea.

you probably wanna double up on the BP meds and have the nitro-glycerin handy when you start researching scopes for that rifle.

I don't know whether to say congrats or condolences, but I'm glad you got a good one.

I am seeing what you mean. Looks like HiLux has repro's available. Might be the cheapest way.

Keep us informed of your adventures! I completed mine about 10 years ago, it was a trip. But it shoots good and is fun to play with.
