I am about to try some cast bullets in my new Savage 99 250-3000. I cannot find any data for 2400 in any of my loading manuals. I have been searching online and have found a few post about 2400 in the 250 Savage.

I am shooting the Lyman 257312 and it weighs 90.5 grains with a GC. I am going to try 11.5 grains of 2400 and work from there.

Anyone have any better ideas to share, I would love to hear them.

Thank you, Malcolm

Yeah hopefully. Kevin did an upgrade this morning but didn't post if it had anything to do with the problems of the last few days. Humming right along now though.

I'm back after getting "403 Forbidden" notices last night.

12.0 grains of Alliant 2400 was my go-to load for 90-105 grain cast bullets in both 243 and 250 Savage.

I'm with 9.3, I use 12.0 grains in the Savage Model 1920 with 88 grainers, and the same in 25 Remington with 115 grain 257325.
