I have mostly RP, but a some milmatch, FED, and WIN. I have a box of at least 500 1x PMC that I've not yet loaded, but never had any issues with any.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
In spite of what the gurus in the gun mags recommend, I too ream primer pockets, purely for uniformitys sake. I also deburr flash holes in brass destined for serious use. My primer pocket uniformer is one of the now defunct "Whitetail Specialties" hand held carbide models.

My favorite "all-around" brass cases come from Winchester. I've tossed too many Federal cases in the scrap bucket because of enlarged primer pockets, and suspect that there's more than one reason that Federal crimps primers in Gold Medal match brass, and any "serious use" applications. My guess is that they want their brass to be on the soft side, perhaps for obturation concerns, and that they're not terribly concerned about case reusability. Just a guess. RP has been okay for rifle cases for me, but will never rise above Winchester. I haven't tried the uber-expensive imported brass yet.

If I could afford the luxury, I would shoot nothing but NORMA brass, and I would buy it in quantities of 500 and all of the same lot. That said, once in awhile, I will buy 20 to load just to see how the other half lives. I keep all brass that is shootable. Have nothing against Fed brass for fairly low pressure loads.

While working with a CZ-527 in 7.62x39, I found that Win brass in that caliber was awful. Case lengths varied considerably, case mouths were visibly out of square, and the shoulder was set back too far. This latter issue caused may misfires! Lapua brass was the answer.

Have always found NEW Win Brass to have varied case lengths, and the case mouths visibility out of square. Never saw problems with shoulder set back. Never buy new Win Brass. Never had that problem with new Rem, Norma, and cant afford Lapua.
