40sw. Swc??

How come i cant find a swc for 40sw,,with lube grooves,,similar to the hg68 shape??
Dont know as if i care for the tc shape...

Try the Lee 145 grain SWC .401. Kinda like a miniature H&G 68. Lee 175/180 truncated cone styles have been very accurate in .38/40, 40S&W, and 10 mm Auto too. RCBS and Lyman have produced .40 cal SWC type bullets that also do well in all three cartridges for me.

Lots of folks just don't think about the 38-40 being 40 cal because the 44-40 is 44 cal and all of the others that used proper cal in front of the BP charge ..... And this 1 but it's not like the 36&44 cal C&B ....

Anyway ...... Look for 38-40 SWCs with/instead of 40/10 .

How about the Lee 401-145-SWC ? 2 cavity

Yup its a lil dynamo!! I shot thousand's in competition! My only complaint is lee only makes a 2 cav!! I wore the first one out!!

Just looked at mold and it appears to be flat base. oops, my mistake . mine is not a TC, mine is a

6 CAV TL401-175SWC​

I switched from the 145 to the 175tc because my carbine didnt like the 145 as much. (Feeding. Its pretty short)
