444 Marlin

Anyone loading for the 444 Marlin? A friend just picked up a 444 model 336 Marlin and am looking to put together some lead bullet loads for it. Any help on bullet weight and powder choice would be helpful.

I have one. Haven't loaded much for it, least not yet. It beats me far worse than my 1895 in 45-70.
RE-7 is damn hard to beat powder wise for most loads.
They tend to be very short throated so a SWC is out unless crimped over the front band. Hard to beat a 265 RD type bullet.
