A few minutes ago, I bought another 9mm , plain base , NOE , RN , 5 cavity, 128 gr. bullet mould. The mould is a used mould, but it looks to be in real good condition.

Ben,
I'm thinking Trevor will say you made a wise purchase, as he rubs his hand in glee, and anticipates some serious range time.

I owned that mold for a while and I shot very well!
I have so many 35 molds it started getting dusty so I sold it.
Not for any fault of the molds or the bullets performance.

Thanks Max,

The general profile of the nose tells me it should feed well.

That is a well-designed bullet. There is some flexibility in seating depth, owing to that rebated ogive origin and square-ended front drive band. Depending on pistol throat depth, a .020" to .050" front drive band protrusion ahead of the case mouth is possible with this bullet. The .340" nose diameter will clear any possible land diameters, and there is plenty of drive band to grab fast-twist rifling without skidding. I get similar results from Lyman #358242 (the 125 grain version).

Nice mould, are you only going to use it on 9 mm?

I just picked up a nice used NOE 358-124 TC hoping to use it in my 9's and possibly some 38's. It drops at 127 grains average and .3595-0360. I tried a few in my CZ P 10C and it was right on first time with 3.6 grains of HP-38. Now to see how they perform in a 38.
