Anyone have experience with this bullet from Accurate Moulds in 30 cal?
It's on the 3rd page of his catalog, middle of the second row.

that 308 area of the front band should line should end up right about where the 1* slope starts.
with the G/C right at the base of the neck.
this leaves that funnel shaped area in front of the case mouth wide open until the nose touches rifling.
just under .2"s long.
probably shoot pretty well, just not too fast.

Thanks fiver. I thought it may have been designed for some 30 cal. chamber i just wasn't familiar with. I just happened to see the specs on it and was curious about it.

I like the design for the most part.

you just have to shoot it to get the fitment of the parts pushed together.
where it would work well as is, is in a semi-auto.
a 5/5/90 type alloy at those diameters would allow that slide-fit to do it's job in a gas gun.
the weight would also be of some help in getting closer to using a jacketed load that would provide the gas needed for operation of the rifle.
