4 gr of Promo huh? I shot up a few pounds of Clays at 4 gr per load in 45 ACP with the MP 200 SWC. I have loaded some Promo with that bullet but at 4.8 gr. Might just try a few at the lower charge, should be pretty mild.
I shot maybe a 1000 rounds of H&G 34 in this gun with 5 grains of Promo & maybe 500 rounds of this 200 grain with the same charge. They were full loads but not excessive. Still 4 grains keeps the trigger guard off my knuckle better. If you pay close attention in the videos I do you can see me tremble on occasion. This is from my death grip I must use to keep the gun off my middle finger. Using two hands I can lighten up a bit but not much.
I have that Accurate 453200H. Good mold, easy casting with it. I have run about 2500 thru my 1911's using WST for fuel. Work good, but I've never run any thru the Blackhawk 45 ACP cylinders. I would be happy to get your results at that range.
The best I've done. I can't repeat it on demand but it does show what the bullet is capable of. The longer range plinking I've done bares this out. I'm not sure its any better than other pattern 68 bullets but I believe it is a good one.
