Another 30/06? I must have a sickness!

Stopped by the local pawn shop yesterday, not a good idea. I find a Remington 700 30/06 with plastic stock for $249 and it is in VG condition with a scope. I do not need another 30/06 but I don't know if I can leave it there or not! It is a good thing I am about 16 miles away from it right now. I just can't stop buying an '06.

Just to clarify things.
I can receive a stock, finish or refinish it and send it back to you.

As to a complete firearm.......NO....I don't have an FFL and really don't want one.

I'm the same way about 7 mauser rifles.
I don't think I have ever seen one I didn't buy. [that wasn't a milsurp]
I HAVE to buy it and give it a go.

If the " right one " appeared , I might just buy another one.

Makes it more fun whist at the range.You can also have them set up differently.Wood sure is nice but,there's something to be said for shooting in inclement weather.A little plastic rifle is a good thing to have around here.Might as we be an 06...

I suppose eight o6's put me close to being obsessive. ....and counting. ...forgot two...I sold three 'cause i was having a hard tome telling them apart....four 30-30 makes me..?

Down to one 223 from three....should I start counting 1911's in 45acp.

Actually BL ...it all depends on wether you are a collector or shooter or collector/shooter...

A friend of mine tells me he is down to 50..
the right ones are an investment ...far better than stocks and bonds...

BTW...check out some of the new drop in stocks ..they are incredible these days..especially for the money..
