Another stupid question from the peanut gallery.

Just a follow up..... As fiver said It Is the little things that complicate .
That little green funnel has been a blessing My loading goes quicker and my loads are more accurate.
Still working on that Elvis thing. By going to this funnel, and being a little more careful about getting the full charge in the case, my round has tightened up to 3.5 moa from 4.
I really believe it is possible, that I was throwing myself off that much by dropping powder or leaving it in the home made paper funnel and not noticing.

I have a couple of the green RCBS funnels. The most recent can handle 300 WSM. Right now I taking a break from loading 22-250 using H-4895. Works smooth as glass. I'm charging cases from a Uniflow. The only time I have trouble with static electricity is emptying Uniflows. Maybe, I'm lucky. I recommend the green RCBS. Those funnels have been in use here since the late 1970's. Yes, I know H-4895 is different from H-335.

The funnel JWG sent me, is a see thru bright florescent green. Can not tell you who made it because it has a hole drilled thru the name. So far not static issues but if I do I know the dryer sheet trick. Use it on my disk drop.

at one time RCBS sold an entire funnel 'kit', it had various sizes in there that ranged in different calibers
[like 22-25,26-28, 30-35 etc.]
the ends were kinda like the screw in funnels they use on their powder measures.
I don't think they made them very long though.

I graduated to Synclair caliber funnels. They are Alum formed to the funnel with a brass "nozzle" attached, in caliber specific diameter and profile. But that "green" funnel still sees use and a prominent location on my bench.

I have been using my first and only powder funnel for all these many years. A red Lyman. I load from 22 Hornet to 45-70 and have no problems with it. Never messed with 17's, would need to do something about that if I did. Static? I just give the funnel a rap on the bench if it starts to build static....seems the jolt stops it. I have used the dryer sheets but never seem to have one as handy as the bench.

Funny how many problems can be solved with a sharp rap on the bench, or, the bar, or a Foos-Ball table, or a car hood, or.....oooh wait, my favorite, a hexagonal oak newel post. Stops a lot of "static."

Have black Lyman and a green RCBS funnel that is MIA. Only use a funnel when I check the RCBS Chargemaster setting against a balance beam scale. That's only for the first load. Otherwise, its the Lyman pan with the funnel spout, I mentioned earlier.
