Arsenal Molds

I just received and did some casting with two Arsenal molds. I ordered the 32-100 TC GC Lyman Copy and the 432-264 H&G 503 Copy. Instructions state molds are shipped clean and ready to preheat and cast so that’s what I did. After 8-10 pours they were dropping good bullets. I specified.432 on the 44 mold and .314 on the 32. On the 432 mold between the 5 cavities they drop .43225 to .43265. Weights are 256.2 to 256.9. Pretty darn consistent in my opinion. 32 mold drops from .31415 to .31485 and weight 98.6 to 99.1. I measured and weighed 15 of each. At about $84 each there’s nothing to complain about. Bullets drop out easily. My first go with Arsenal so I thought I’d report. Pictures on post below.

Just loaded some 44 specials for my 3” GP100. Waiting on some gas checks for the 32. Anxious to test the 32’s. My Lipsey’s Single Six Bisley is very accurate.

Very nice Gman. I have a powder coat 130gr 9mm mold on the way from Arsenal.

71725BD6-FDB9-4F72-B04B-56FD0A3133D8.jpegShot this afternoon with the GP100 loaded with the Arsenal 503 copy. Upper right was the last rounds and shot double action. Unfortunately the gun will not stay cocked when thumbing back the hammer for single action shooting. Load was 6.0 grains of HP-38 with a Fed 150 primer. Bullets lubed with SL-71B sized 43240. I can push them through the throats with a little pressure. Good thing is no leading. Haven’t taken it down yet to look for the problem. Priority was to cook a chicken sausage gumbo with some Tasso thrown in for flavor.
