Blackhawk in .32-20?

I checked out Gary's site, wow! He certainly has developed a lot of wildcats. Makes me think my ideas aren't too crazy or unworkable.

I wonder what kind of velocity you could get with a 100 gr 7mm bullet in a wildcat based on a near full length .223 case. If I can calculate the case volume maybe somebody with Quickload could make an estimate?

Really close to being a 7mm 300 Blackout, but your case design is a mite longer, and you appear to have more case taper.

I dunno, Keith, look at the inside of the case and see where the thick metal is. I'm afraid most of the early expansion of the case will be in the tapered shoulder area, which might drive the case back against the recoil shield a mite too much. You could always make an "improved" reamer and change the neck angle if it was a problem.
