Calvary day at the range.

I wanted to go to the range today (even in 16 degree weather) and thought what should I bring. I figured I'd bring the 1895 GG and my
25-7. That got me thinking, 'this is what they had at the the Little Big Horn so many years ago. My guns are a little more modern though. I thought it was kind of cool. Wish me luck that I don't freeze solid.

Being a visual person, when reading the title I immediately had a picture in my mind of Jesus wasting a row of watermelons with an AK-47.

I see I misspelled Cavalry. Thank you all for helping me out. I really appreciate it.
To be honest I didn't think about the two different meanings and spellings, just typed in the word and went on. I'm going to have to watch my typing and spelling from here on. I had a good time though and made it home safe and sound.

jesus ain't a commie.
he would use an AR.
Lol! He likes ak's to. Commandeered of course. Nothing like a drum full of cast with the speed & control he has. His ar is more for longer range stuff.

L1A1, I don't. But, here's a stock pic of it. (Maybe my 9yo Grandson could help me post a pic.) :) It's isn't too heavy. It's the 18 1/2" length with the short tube (holds 3 plus 1 in the chamber) and I'd say probably weighs around 7-8 Lbs and carries pretty good, I think it carries better than my Ruger 77 30-06. I just saw the pic of the AR in your avatar, it probably weighs less (at least seems to) than my AR.
