Cast Boolits Hacked?

that's part of the problem i think.
I'm fairly certain it was a link from one of the advertisers giving the issue.
willy had to do a scan and a patch and the advertising was down for a couple of hours.
I'm not sure if the PM's are up yet or not.

I know when gun and game got hit they were down for most of a week and lost threads, pm's, avatars and all kinds of stuff.

Like I said, banner ad clap. Those who haven't already in my thread, take a minute to thank Brad and his understanding wife for funding this site completely on his own dime. We tend to take access and smooth functioning for granted...until something goes wrong. You guys who mod the bigger, more expensive, high-bandwidth sites deserve a hand, too, for all the extra work you have to put in when the electrons hit the fan.

I thought you said elections :D
I was just getting my blood pressure back down from the political season when this hit.
someone asked why I didn't merge all of the [problem] threads together....
I asked if he was joking.

You need a section for the problem children and then let em at it. No moderation at all, just let them have it out.
Oh, that is the only section they are allowed in. Sort of an island of misfit toys.

I think some would do just fine in a section like that.
they would for sure be happy in their miserableness.

I dunno man there has to be another website out there they could go to.
I followed a link over to another site today that was just full of obscenity and R+ rated pictures [I was promised borderline X-rated]
it was supposed to be about IDPA shooting, and some of it was I guess, I never made it that far.

I don't mind contributing a little for a forum I like. I used to donate from time to time at cb before Ken got out of it. Now, I figure the advertisers pick up the tab.

Ken is still involved.
he just isn't able to do the day to day stuff.
most don't know this but the boolits site has been set up to work for him.
it is his income source. [he is too crippled up to work and won't get any assistance]
if it weren't for that I wouldn't still be involved.

Everything seemed to be up and working fine on "boolits" this morning 11-28). I like this site but "boolitis" generates a lot more traffic so it's generally still my go to. CBA fellows are fine but more into rifle things and Goodsteels I look at daily but again more rifle oriented.

Good steel has his own site?

I prefer the smaller sites. I don't get much time to veiw, and like to keep on top of things.
