Two 300blk ARs next to a Paratrooper SKS for size comparison. One is an 8" barrel, the other is 7.5". They are still works in progress. Right now I'm looking at how to mount a light and where to put the remote. I'll post a thread on that later. For now, I thought I'd just post up a pic for fun.

What caliber is the yellow one? :p

I really should have gone the SBR route on my .458, but I know how these things like to multiply and these days that is a LOT of paperwork, plus an 8-10 month wait.

The yellow one is kinda scary. No matter how fast it spins em then still go in the same hole. He can drill the target every time.

Oh No! Scary rifles!

Actually, the first picture that flashed through my head was you and Ian out pig hunting with these.

Cool tools!

Can you mount cans on them?

when I seen twins I immediately though someone was trying to cut into Wilco's action.

He's going to have to mount some evil black NV optics on there if he goes pig hunting with me! :D

OK ..I'm confused...all those are not carpentry tools ....Right?
I would think the two little ones would need a handle something like this..

Those are s-o-o-o way beyond me ...but my nephew would go crazy over them...

The little ones are a wee bit short for my tastes. I had a chance to graft my 10.5" pistol upper onto a legal lower and it proved to be quite accurate at 300m with a buttstock. While none of this variety have the same beauty as blued steel and walnut, they can be very practical.

Count me firmly in the 10.5" or longer club for BLK. The muzzle pressure is triple a 10.5" on a 7" barrel shooting subsonic ammo, but there's a trade-off to everything and a 7" SBR will go places a 10.5" pistol can't.

Sorry I've been gone. Had some computer issues.

The sooner you get it sent in, the sooner the approval comes back. You can build it as a pistol first, then when the paperwork comes in, put the rifle stock on it.

Nice, those oughta be handy.

They do handle nice. I figured if I was spending the 200 bucks on the stamp, I might as well go really short.

Yes, the SBR on the right (middle rifle) has the muzzle brake I made for the silencer I made. I'm probably going to make more muzzle brakes for other rifles. I've also got an approved Form 1 for another 30cal can. AND, I keep waiting for the invite for a pig hunt. . .

Evil black guns.

EBR's are fun. And the SBR's are just too cool. :)

Night vision? I think I have something that could be called night vision. :)
