Desk Drawers

Not having a steel desk I don't put near that much weight in drawers. My solution is to cover all horizontal surfaces with piles of stuff!

Mmm, I don't think pile A would even fit in there let alone the rest of them.

Much better organization than myself.

Rough estimate at my house is 120K pieces of brass. Definitely won't fit in a desk drawer.

THAT's more like it, I was starting to feel like maybe I need an "intervention", but at least I'm in good company. Every time I look at the price of new brass it makes me SOOOOOooo glad that I grabbed every decent case I could find at public ranges back when nobody cared. Now, I get the stink-eye from the range officers for collecting my OWN brass. Sheesh.

Nothing like a few 5-gallon buckets of polished rifle brass to give you that warm, fuzzy feeling inside.

Hell, no wonder I can't find any 30-30 brass!
I have no idea how much I have. As a rule I have enough. No such thing as too much.

Not sure I'm in Creeker's league and definately not in Ian's league, but I think my 06 brass just about fits in a 20mm ammo can.

If I were using a Steelcase desk to store bullets and brass it would take more than 1 or 2.

I'm planning to live at least another 30 years and hopefully will have kids interested in wearing out cartridge brass too, so I accumulate things like there won't be any more in the future, or I won't be able to afford it if there is, both likely scenarios at some point.

Well, I have a lot more than some, and nowhere near as much as some of you guys. I'm more or less happy with what I have for now. I'm pretty flush on powder. Real close on primers. There is some brass I'd LIKE but could probably live without. A good stash of Jwords and somewhere around 1500-1600lbs of alloy. For the amount of shooting I'm able to do, this is many years of supply for me. I'll grab up more when I can but if things dry up tomorrow, I'll be fine for the foreseeable future......

I have several filing cabinets that I store a lot of things in. I won't use the cheap cabinets. I look for the older heavy ones that no one wants, just take the drawers out when moving and it makes life easy.
I ran across one of the old card cabinets that is as tall as a regular cabinet but with twice as many drawers.
I have at least 10000 bullets of various calibers and sizes lubed up and ready. I use the pistol ammo box inserts to store bullets in. At just a glance I can see what I have and how many.

I have 3 sons with an interest in shooting and reloading. I can't accumulate too much. No telling what may be unobtainium when my teenagers are my age. 218 bee and 25-20 brass is bloody sparse now.

And to all, this should probably filed .....keep it under your hat.But then tack never was one of my strong points? One of the boys here is a chemistry PHD,who was raised in a job/machine shop. He's on top of component availability.Just sayin, the American spirit is very much alive and well.

The "bucket" method is a bonafied approach, time honored.
