Michael,

I’ll take the .311 die for $15 and the 308 brass for $36. I’ll add it to the check I’ll be sending you. Let me know if you need any more for shipping.

Bryan,

Hold off on the check. All the items should fit in a medium flat rate box, but I need to check. I'll get back with you tomorrow.

Thank you!

Ok, will do. Our plans have changed a little anyways. I have a meeting I really shouldn’t miss at work Monday morning and Joseph has an accounting meeting for college too, so, I’m not going to be out hunting all day like I originally thought.

Is 75 bucks a reasonable offer for an unknown maker tang sight? Are there three holes in the mounting base? Never seen that before.

Don't call me Shirley, Shirley is a half-blind QC inspector for a popular mould manufacfurer:p

Does the 6.5x55 set come with any neck bushings? Talk to me about this Lyman seating die, is it like the Forster which has a sliding sleeve which moves with the case and holds the case in line with the bullet punch? Will it work with .268" cast bullets?

Yep, Shirley helped me out a lot, when it came to learning how to make Lee stuff work properly.

The neck die does not use a bushing, just a straight forward, old fashioned neck sizing die.

I'm not a good descriptor of things, but here goes:
I would liken Lyman's PA dies to Forester's without the spring. The die body is dimensioned to the cartridge case (or family of cases), unlike Hornady's one size fits all. The sliding sleeve is countersunk so as to help align the case mouth. In other words, the case is held securely enough for it to pass through the die with minimal misalignment. I enlarged the sliding sleeve to allow my lubed obese .268+" bullets to pass through it. The seating stem is designed for spire pointed bullets, but I used hot melt glue to fit the 266469's nose. The glue has been removed. By the way, the die is designed to crimp, but I just backed the body out so it didn't.

If you like, I'll be glad to take pictures.
