My preference would be to have those that choose to, go hunt, fish, or shoot in rememberance instead of a funneral. I'd like to be cremated & the ashes spread in the fields, woods, & waters I've enjoyed the most.

FB - seen where they cremate you, then load the ashes into shotshells and shoot them off?!!? Was a thing a few years ago

In my wife's family. A cousin has made one of my wife's brothers promise to cremate him an load his ashes in shotgun shells and fire them over his favorate duck slough.

The youngest boy requested the shotshell thing .
Dad's going in glass ampules , we'll spread the rest across northern AR and place a marker in the next town over . A friend of his owns a cemetery ........
Dad loved to shoot so when we get stuff settled and I pour the shooting bench I'm putting a brass plate on it in memory of . I'll probably put my vile under the plate .

Think about draw guy in the slaughter house .........
