V6..funny.

I've had a couple thunder, cobra, & quadra jets but, no actual jet engine.

Yes, freebullet, I remember when we got the new 1972 Plymouths with the 440's. Burned real leaded 110 octane gas and they were exempt from EPA smog rules. Put fuel in twice per shift and a new right rear bias ply tire every week. A different world that is for sure.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
I work in a large repair shop that works on everything from classic cars to huge on and off road trucks. One of our current projects is "freshening up" a 69 Charger with a 440 and all the toys for a customer. It was originally a nice change from the local power companys off road 6X6s, and the damn motor homes. I was standing by the Charger when it was first started after over a decade in storage. I almost passed with delight over the stupidest thing. Since the car has no converters on it, the exhaust smells exactly the way it's supposed to smell! I didn't realize that I hadn't smelled unfiltered car exhaust in ages. Talk about memories! Now I must build myself something from that era, I just have to remember not to start it indoors and let it run. I'm thinking about a big block Galaxie, Torino, or Fairlane.

Man now ya did it ....... Nothing in the world like 90 cid per cylinder, dual ignition , centrifugal blowers and 130 octane . The curious lope of odd numbers of cylinders per bank mmmmm ...... Four rows of seven running 90° off aromatic fuel ....... Brrrop, brrrop, brrrop ,.......... 3350 cid , self regulating carburators ,2 stage blower , 4 cams 20 lobes and when there was enough money from sponcers 4300 horses with NOS . Spine tingle shivers ..........

Not the same HP range but I have a fun to drive 1988 Chevy S-10 pickup with a 5L V8 and tuned port fuel injection. ohh, no converter, nice sweet sound.
