Fuel stabilizers

Seafoam is about the same thing as HEET, it keeps water in the fuel emulsified. It also dissolves anything made of Buna-N.

Best fuel I've found yet is AvGas, it last for several years in storage. It's also detrimental to catalytic converters and oxygen sensors.

Mostly, I run the carb's dry on my small engine equipment (seems most important with chainsaws.) But that 13hp Honda on the wood splitter didn't like it's carb dry. I haven't changed my procedures on everything else, but I have to say I've been considering it, I'm liking the MMO. As to fuel tanks on these small engines, I like to keep them full, instead of drained, to avoid condensation over a Minnesota winter/spring...some are stored outside, some are stored in a unheated shed.
Side note, I noticed some tree leaves piling up near one firewood stack, so I'll probably fire up the lawnmower/bagger today, it's suppose to get to near 70º. BTW, I've winterized this lawnmower twice already this month,...number 3 will happen later today, LOL.
