What sources do ya'll use for GC besides Lyman and Hornady? I was hoping to find a source where I could buy 2-500 instead of a 1,000.
Thanks

Josh makes and sells aluminum ones, any quantity you need, check out his thread in the SS section. Gator makes copper ones, not sure who still sells them but Brad would know.

NOE sells Gator checks. I bought some and they are made of thicker stock than Hornady's. It was impossible for me to size them onto a very hard alloy, Hornady's worked.

Al made this right with me but just a caution about real hard alloys. I will reiterate that Al responded to my problem and fixed it by personal phone call, very good company!

I am going to try Josh's product next and look forward to it.

Malcolm,

I make my own, but then again that wasn't your question. :p

Thanks everyone, I contacted Josh.
Ben, I used to make mine too, it is the reloading task I hated more than any other so I sold all the dies. I had 7 of the PM check-makers, good product but I just did not like making them. I guess I'm just funny that way:D.

It isn't what I call fun, BUT it saves me $ and they shoot great.

I've tried tons of different gc's. I just ordered 10k of Josh's aluminum checks. Khornet gave me some to try, then I got 1k from Josh and they are working really well. They even go on a couple trouble bullets with large shanks easier than Hornady at half the price. His prices in the swap sell section includes shipping and can't be beat unless you like to make them.
If it sounds like I'm excited about his gc's it's because I am. I've tried so many that would not go or stay on.

No problem adding a link to a place you have done business with.
I mostly use Gator checks purchased from Blammer over on CB. Been very happy with them.
I'm too busy with work and generallly not interested in making checks.
