Ethanol free for all my small engines these days. Trying to get a leaf blower that I inherited
from my father running again was the final straw. The fuel line, some sort of 2 or 3mm clear
plastic, probably PVC, was exactly the strength and flexibility of a piece of spaghetti. Nice.
Thanks to all that wonderful ethanol in the gas.
So far, the ethanol free stuff has worked well for a couple of seasons. Got out my pressure
washer, also inherited from my father, which took three disassemblies and cleaning out of
crud and corrosion from the carb, and it started on first pull after a year, ran fine pressure
washing for 30-40 minutes use. Stabil in non-ethanol gas.
I have done the fuel sample in a clear bottle deal. Nasty stuff some of the time. Seems like
the non-ethanol around here is much more stable.....even without Stabil. Maybe it is snake
oil, but so far, it has been working. Will be looking at this Phaze stuff.
