Got my Switchback 6ARC out today

Put a new scope on her (ARKEN 6-24x50, S4J) and sighted in at 50 yards. After 3 sighters I shot a 5 shot all touching group; tight touching group. Took it out to 100 and shot at a 10" plate, never missed the steel. Using 6.5 Grendel brass and a Forster sizing die it all went well. Going to prep and reload tomorrow.

Hello Gary. Did you shoot that with cast bullets? It sounds like good shooting with any bullets, but would be far better than I have managed with cast in the small bores.

I shoot jacketed in it so far and it's a dart thrower. I cast for pistol and my 44-40 lever rifle.

245497 Lyman is as close as I have; might give it a whirl.

That one does not abide here, but Johnnyjr sent its' sibling 245496 as a bonus with the two NOE moulds I got got from him. That was very generous of him. I think when I begin this project in the spring it will be my third run at .243, the worst so far has been the undersized RCBS mold of dark memory.
