Have you ever lost a gun?

One of the guys in our traffic unit worked a whole shift without his weapon. He got out of his routine, went in admin for something and just forgot to check it out. Conducted several traffic stops that night also. His name was Lewis, so for quite awhile the guys in the unit called him "Light Weight Lewis".

When we were kids, my little brother was always trying to sneak My Colt OP or Ruger OM SS out of it's holster when we were out Hunting or Fishing.
That finally ended when he fumbled that Ruger right into the river. He stayed home for the Next Year. Whenever the whole family went, he got to go to Grandma's.
