It's all Buckshot's fault. Today he abducted me away from college football games to one of our local toy emporia, and wouldn't you know it? They had just exactly the Henry 357 Magnum Big Boy levergun I wanted to look at. Steel receiver, NOT that overweight and over-blinged brass hideosity, 20" barrel, and conventional lever form (not the over-sized loop thing). Looked it over, and said "Wrap it up". Win 92 repros are unobtainium, Marlin 94Cs haven't been made for 4+ years, and I didn't want to finish building a Rossi. My first Henry rifle, and my first 357 Magnum rifle also. Pick-up date is 01-09-17 after 3:50 P.M.

What a friend!
I agree on the brass and the large lever.
I eagerly await some results.

9.3, that's just like mine.
I think you'll be please at how far Henry has raised the bar for lever guns.

To each his own for sure. The more I look at mine the more I like the brass receiver. Weather is not very good right now. If the rain stops I may get some rounds down range today.

I don't like the bead-blasted matte blue. If Henry polished and black/blued their Big Boy steel receivers like they do their octagonal barrels, I would be a lot more interested in steel.
