kind of like that.
only without the hammer, a proper butt stock, recoil pad, and a raised vent rib.
it's not that hard to do this kind of stuff right and only adds about 50$ to a new gun.
trap type guns are easily modified for field hunting by changing the recoil pad and the chokes.
but attempting to make everybody happy usually doesn't work to well
I use my pigeon grade 101 with the black diamond stock set up, for grouse hunting just cause it comes up easy and is light to carry.
probably a bit pricy for a woods gun but it does the job just as well as my 25 year old model 1300 with the stuck choke.
