Hornady "Unique" case lube...

I just ordered my very first tub. I've been using Hornady One Shot for years.

Thought I'd give this a try. What are the pros and cons of this case lube?

About all I use. Quick and easy. I dab a finger in and give the case a quick swipe. If the expander squeals I dip the case mouth of every 3-5 cases in it too.
Seems to clean off quick in the tumbler too.
That tub will last you damn near forever.

I even use it for case neck turning.

It's all I've used for more years than I can remember. Yep, a little dab on the finger tips is plenty just by handling the cases.

I bought the small tub of it, little over a year ago, upon Ricks recommendation. Half gone already......can't help it if I shoot a lot.
Won't use anything else. I heard that a good substitute is Mink Oil, used on leather boots. Another advantage it keeps your hands from cracking.

I only use this stuff. Have even bought a spare tub for when I run out (which will be a while).

I use lanolin, olive oil, & alcohol mix but, on large cases I swipe a light finger dab & wipe the neck with unique as they go in the press every 3-5 cases. Works like a champ & doesn't use much of either lube.

I tried unique on Brad & Rick's recommendation. They were right, it's great stuff.

I bought a tub of anhydrous lanolin on eBay. just the slightest hint on your fingers and
roll 10-15 cases between hands and they are ready to go. Hands get really nice, too.
4" diam tub is about 300 years worth.
