I received my Ideal 452460HP mould from Glen today, exceptionally well packaged. It's almost like Glen has shipped a mould or two before :). The workmanship of the HP conversion is exceptional, to say the least! I'll get some cast up soon and post them. Here's the pic Glen sent me beforehand.

Did to me at first but then I zoomed in and saw it was a 2.
Might be a Buckshot conversion, I'm pretty sure he used drill shanks for pins. Drill with a new bit and use an old shank from the same size bit for the pin. A very elegant solution. Trying to turn a pin that small in diameter is a pain.

I believe Dave did it himself. It is an elegant solution to that situation, isn't it?

Yes, Dave did convert that mould himself. I did one for myself, and he had some ballistic gelatin sitting around that he donated to testing my new HP. He liked what he saw in that testing and then went and found a single cavity 452460 and did this conversion.

PS -- I'm sure that HP pin is an old drill bit. Dave never threw anything out. "I can use that for something...."
