Yep, that's it! There are also two basic add-on flavors that get that singular aroma: Mud and poop from the holding pen, and burlap from the tow sacks.

funny how burlap will give off it's scent without picking up others.
I have some burlap coffee bags somewhere here and they smell like... burlap.
not even a slight hint of coffee.

I have anhydrous lanolin from an online source. Totally odor free as far as I can tell.
I may not have the very best smeller in the world, but I can normally smell odors
pretty normally.

i use lanolin and isopropyl alcohol for reloading brass. i use a 10:1 mix instead of 8:1. i use just lanolin( on a qtip) to neck up my cases(8x57 to 9.3x57, 30-30 - 35/30, 30-06 - 270...).

I spend very little on lubricants and such. I use Hoppes for cleaning barrels. I use any oil for lubrication and have some lithium grease for certain applications.

I dunno but the directions to get to Herford, Texas from just about anywhere else in the state go something like "north 'til ya smell it, west 'til ya step in it".

I do not see "gunzilla" on your list! For cast there is nothing better for me and everyone I turned on to it!
It floats lead fouling out of the bore after 24 hrs! & I have walked your path for many more years!
